Buying in 'bulk'...

If you are thinking about baby proofing your home, planning a birthday or something like toilet training, chances are you'll have another friend or someone in your Mother's Group (or the whole group) thinking the same thing. Why not put your orders together and share the freight? Or for something like toilet training purchases, I will give a discount on purchases of multiple items like Lupi Lu's and sheet protectors... just send me an email with the total of each product your group would like and I will get back to you with a price! And as the organiser, you will more than likely end up with a little something extra for all your hard work!

In the news - there was a Today Tonight story on plastic bottles containing PBA tonight (18 Sept 08). Michaela Carter, the brilliance behind Kala's Little Stars, and I had a conversation about this very thing the day before the program went to air and she told me that the cups and spouts from Kala's Little Stars are PBA free, so you can purchase this range with total peace of mind.

Did you know that Belles Familles is French for Beautiful Families, I havent made a typo and the business hasn't been named after anyone called Belle or their family!

My business motto is beautiful things for beautiful families and I will continue to seek and offer you beautiful things as I come across them in my travels. Beautiful may be beautiful in the visual appeal of the product but also beautiful as it makes your life as a parent easier, safer, more fun so you can get on with this the toughest job of all. (parenting!)

My other 'mantra', if you like, is there is nothing I stock that I haven't used or wish I had used in my own family. Check out the 'My Favourite Things' window, this is where I tell you about the products I am using and love or wish I had used at the time they were appropriate. Each month or so I will refresh the product selection and tell you why I like those particular products. If you would like to know more about any of the products listed please ask me!

New Freight options.

Due to an increase in bulky items I have taken on the services of Fastway Couriers. This offers you an option of a Door to Door delivery (they do not deliver to a PO Box) and usually deliver overnight.

So if you live in the RED ZONE - Melbourne Metro, Wodonga, Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour, Northern Rivers, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane Metro or Towoomba.

Or the LIME ZONE -Scone, Musswelbrook, Maitland, Cessnock, Gloucester, Nelson Bay, Newcastle, Woy Woy, Katoomba, Wollongong, Port Kembla, Kiama, Mittagong, Bowral, Nowra or Ulladulla.

Parcels are sent on cubic weight and I will contact you if any 'extra' tickets are required. Other areas will be added as the need arises and I am also looking at door to door options for smaller packets.

June '07 Belles Familles website wins a GOLD award!

The recent face life the website has undergone has won a webdesigners Gold award. The award is judged on Graphics, Artwork, Layout, Navigability, Functionality and Originality. Well done to Lisa Cameron from Cameron Solutions for her hard work and ability to turn my thoughts and ideas into a reality.
